After 2014, she simply stopped appearing in movies. Although she is once again set to star alongside Jamie Foxx in Netflix’s unreleased Back In Action, it’ll be her last movie. Reports suggest that the intensive workdays are becoming too much, and she’d rather spend that time with her family.

When she sat down with Parade in 2019, Queen Latifah revealed that she had to, on many occasions, take a step back from her acting career after suffering burnout. She has not permanently retired from Hollywood, but she only shoes up when she feels good, and that is impressive!

Paparazzi managed to catch up with the skillfully evasive Bridget Fonda earlier this year. When she was asked if she plans to return to Hollywood, she simply replied “No. It’s too nice being a civilian.” Honestly, I understand and I am happy for Bridget. Fame is sometimes too much pressure.

In a tweet, Bynes announced: “Being an actress isn’t as fun as it may seem. If I don’t love something anymore, I stop doing it. I don’t love acting anymore, so I’ve stopped doing it. I know 24 is a young age to retire, but you heard it here first.”
